Celebrate the season by trying something new: a “lapbook d’automne”!
There’s a reason why teachers are adopting interactive activities more and more often: they’re engaging, fun, and effective teaching tools.
But you might think that introducing them in your classroom is a bit too complex, or you don’t know where to begin.
One of the best ways is to start by using interactive lapbooks, such as this “lapbook d’automne”, because they have a limited number of activities and the end result gives kids a great sense of achievement.
Lapbook d’automne – French Fall Lapbook
You will find that there are many activities in this lapbook.
You can choose to do them on the same day or a little bit a day during a week.
The other two activities are writing prompts:
- “L’épouvantail dit…” – kids are supposed to fill in a speech bubble with something a scarecrow would say
- “Les pommiers en automne” – a mini-book with pictures that will get your students writing a short narrative.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope your students practice French a lot while having loads of fun!
