Winter is knocking on your door, isn’t it? Time to get students learning and practicing French winter clothing vocabulary.
Here’s a quick and fun printable with dice I’d like to share with you so your students can get some engaging practice.
French Winter Clothing Vocabulary
This is a free dice coloring activity – it’s a sort of roll and color worksheet.
Kids roll two dice: one with images or names of clothing items and another one with color words.
This will get kids practicing French winter clothing vocabulary as well as color words.
There are different versions of each die so that you can focus on different skills, e.g. if you decide to use the die with the names of clothing items instead of illustrations, you’ll be checking for reading comprehension.

Oh, and there are different versions for my Canadian teacher-friends and my French teacher-friends!
I’ve included dice with the words “chandail” and “mitaines”, but also dice with the words “pull” and “moufles”.
I always try to include different options because I know French vocabulary differs from region to region.
