French Spring Reading Comprehension Worksheets: students cut and paste high-frequency words to fill in the gaps in 15 texts, answer multiple choice comprehension questions, and work on reading fluency! Each text comes in 2 alternative versions so you can differentiate the activity. Includes printable version and optional digital Boom Cards version.
Mes élèves aiment beaucoup ces petites lectures. J’aime qu’il y a deux niveaux de difficulté pour les textes. Merci!

French Spring Vocabulary Practice for Google Slides™: students drag and drop words to label images, type to copy words, and more! For Google Slides/Google Classroom. Who says digital can’t be fun and effective? Check it out!
I love this resource, it’s engaging for my Core French students and works well as a centre for my more independent FI students.

French Spring Emergent Reader: This printable spring reader will help your students recognize, read, and write the word PRINTEMPS in different sentences. Add this printable booklet to your set of French spring activities! Includes a printable “big” full-page book to use in shared reading, or to add to a classroom library.
Love this little reader! My class has a wide range of abilities, and this is perfect for all the kids. Easy to prep, fun to teach, perfect for introducing vocab!

French Phonics Colour by Code: Spring – students colour the image according to the code to practice sounds in French (graphemes). When they complete the colouring, the image is revealed.
A great resource to help students practice recognizing complex sounds in French. The images are cute and the activity is fun. It is also good fine-motor practice.

French Spring-themed Scrambled Sentences (phrases mêlées): fun and effective activity for practicing French sentence structures. Students unscramble the cards to build up a sentence. Parfait pour le printemps!
My students loved this resource! In small table groups/pairs, they worked to put the sentence in order. Then, once Mme said it was correct, they were allowed to write it down. Students cheered with excitement whenever they solved the phrase!

Check out the scrambled sentences set about “les animaux de la ferme”.
French Spring Seven Differences Game: great for visual discrimination. Also works well to practice writing or speaking because you can have your students write the differences they find, or tell you what the differences are!
My students were very engaged during these activities. Thank you!
