French Saint Patrick’s Day FREE Resources
I’ve selected four resources created by my fellow teacher-authors at TpT.
- French Buzz has a set of 28 word wall cards so you can teach/review vocabulary related to “la Saint-Patrick”.
- Peg Swift wants your students to practice some writing by filling out a poster in response to some prompts.
- If you’d looking for a bulletin board idea that is print-and-go, check out this shamrock writing reflection activity by The French Nook
In addition to the freebies above, I’ve got a couple of my own printable resources to share, and a Slideshare as well.
- Get your students working on their adjectives and descriptive texts. Have them come up with the adjectives they can use, then have them use those adjectives in a short text of their own. Use the graphic organizer and writing template I shared in this post (click on the image below to check out the blog post).
- If you’d like your kiddos to work on their vocabulary, but they are not ready to write full paragraphs and texts, or you want a quick hands-on activity, check out the labelling activity I share in this post (click on the image below to check out the blog post).
- To introduce the topic of Saint Patrick’s Day, use the Slideshare below to talk about it:
