They’re great for use in the classroom, as homework, and for distance learning.

French Boom Cards
First, let’s talk briefly about Boom Cards.
The standard way of explaining Boom Cards is to say they are digital task cards, but that might not mean much to you.
So let me put it another way: Boom Cards are digital exercises that your students will play like a game and they will love it!
While students think they’re just having fun, you know they’re practicing tons of skills independently.
Students get immediate feedback–they’ll know if they made a mistake or not.
Depending on the Boom account you have, you’ll have access to progress reports telling you which cards they got wrong, how many times and how long they played, and more.
You can use Boom Cards:
- As a whole group activity if you can project them on a screen in the classroom.
- In the classroom, as independent literacy centres.
- For early finishers and for review/extra practice.
- As homework. They work great even if families don’t speak French.
- For distance learning.
French Rhyming Digital Practice
I’ve created a bundle of Boom Cards to practice rhyming in French.
Kids will be improving their listening skills and rhyming knowledge by:
- Listening to words and deciding whether they match or not.
- Choosing words that rhyme with other words.
- Sorting words that rhyme with a given word.
