This set of French February calendar cards has a theme and I think you can guess what it is: Valentine’s Day!
Think hearts, pink, red, and cuteness overload, but with some engaging tasks for your students to get great speaking and writing practice.
The cards are very similar to the ones in the January set: half of them will have your kids using Valentine-related words in sentences, and the other half will have varying tasks.
Oh, and don’t worry! I’ve included 29 day cards as February this year is a bit longer 🙂
French February Calendar Cards
In addition to the headers (month, days of the week, and “C’est l’hiver!”), there are 29Â cards, one for each day of the month.
On the back of each card, there is a task to be completed by students. For example:
- Écrire une phrase avec le mot “bouquet”.
- Quel mois rime avec février?
- Est-ce que toutes les roses sont roses?
- Écrire une phrase avec le mot “coeur”. (in the picture below)
Students can do the task of the day OR you can have them pick a random number after you have finished the calendar time.
The second option allows you to use up all the cards, even those days that are weekends or holidays.
This is a way to encourage creative and critical thinking in your students! Hope they like it 🙂
