French Fall Reading Comprehension Worksheets: students cut and paste high-frequency words to fill in the gaps in 15 texts, answer multiple choice comprehension questions, and work on reading fluency! Each text comes in 2 alternative versions so you can differentiate the activity. Includes printable version and optional digital Boom Cards version.
I love that there are 2 levels to this resource. One for beginners and the other has a bit more challenge. They both offer valuable skills for students to practice.

French Fall Vocabulary Practice for Google Slides™: students drag and drop words to label images, type to copy words, and more! For Google Slides/Google Classroom. Who says digital can’t be fun and effective? Check it out!
This resource is absolutely excellent. I’ve used it in person and distance learning with students (both grade 1 and Core French). The differentiation is excellent for vocabulary growth and development.

French Fall-themed Scrambled Sentences (phrases mêlées): fun and effective activity for practicing French sentence structures. Students unscramble the cards to build up a sentence. Parfait pour l’automne!
This is great as a center. It also teaches kids to look for clues like capital letter and punctuation to help put the sentence in order.

French Fall Emergent Reader: This printable fall reader will help your students recognize, read, and write the word AUTOMNE in different sentences. Add this printable booklet to your set of French fall activities! Includes a printable “big” full-page book to use in shared reading, or to add to a classroom library.
The children love them and it really helps their French. I work with three different levels at once and these resources make it much easier

French Fall Vocabulary Puzzles: This set will get your students practicing fall-themed vocabulary words en français. These are self-correcting puzzles and I’ve included an answer recording sheet for accountability. Printable and digital Easel versions included.
Some of the 24 words are: un arbre, une feuille, du vent, un râteau, un épouvantail, un écureuil, un gland, une noix, etc.
My students and I both love this resource!! I use it during language centres, and the self-correcting puzzles make it so easy for students to do, while still having a challenge. Great resource!

This printable booklet will help your students recognize, read, and write the word FEUILLE in different sentences. Add this printable reader to your set of French fall activities! Includes a printable “big” full-page book to use in shared reading, or to add to a classroom library.
I like the various ways children can fill in the words in this reader.
