Free French Easter Classroom Resources
Guess the best place to start is vocabulary.
One of the most useful resources for the classroom is a word wall.
I’ve found three Easter-themed alternatives for you:
- If you want different size options, Edventurous Little Apples has the resource for you. Her Easter Word Wall comes in different card sizes, including a full page option.
- French Buzz has a set of 30 Easter-themed Word Wall Cards too.
- Do you also teach the religious aspect of Easter? Then, check out this Alléluia Word Wall.
Then, you might want to move on to writing and reading practice.
- Your kiddos will enjoy cracking the code to find out what the mystery sentences are in this resource by Madame Pascale.
- You can also use simple prompts to get your students writing, like this Acrostic Poem by Fab French.
- Check out the emergent reader with simple text and vocabulary related to “Pâques” created by Je me demande.
- A great way to make your students confident about their emergent reading skills is to provide predictable sentences. I’ve put together a mini set of Easter-themed sentences for you.

Working on Math is important too, so here are some free Easter-themed Math resources in French:
- Mme Sambrook wants your kiddos working on numbers 1-20 with this “Tourne et dis” set, which also includes literacy practice.
- Maybe you prefer some puzzles to work on numbers 0-10? Check out the set by Bilingual Mingle, which includes posters as well.
Do you want your students to translate Easter-theme vocabulary from English to French? Then, check out this translate-a-word-search by Mrs. Mathis.
Peg Swift has 2 coloring resources for you to use:
Madame Emilie put together a mix of activities, including a “bricolage” idea and mazes.
And we couldn’t have an Easter celebration without some super cute gift tags for you to add to any chocolate, candy, or anything else you might be giving your kiddos for “Pâques”!
And that’s it for now.
I’ll try to update and include more resources to this list every year, so bookmark this page to come back to it next year too.
If you like this post, share it with your teacher-friends!
Note: Be sure to share the blog post, NOT the resources 😉
